Search the Rhythm Software User Manual
Add users and set up remote access.
While Rhythm is on site to commission your system, they will ask you which users you'd like to set up and they will set up user access for you. In the case that you need to set up more users after the commissioning, you can follow these steps:
• Send an email to raul@rhythmcss.com with the name and email of the person(s) you'd like to add.

• You will receive a creation account invitation from the Real VNC system allowing you to create a username and password.

• Download the Real VNC remote desktop viewer by searching "VNC Viewer" in the Apple or Android app store for your phone, or for your desktop computer by going to https://www.realvnc.com/en/connect/download/viewer/

• You can then locally add the user to your machine by going to Rhythm Logo > Configuration > Admin > User Management > Open > Create New User. This will bring up a prompt that will allow you to create a user name and password and assign either "Admin" privileges or "Plant Care." Admin users will be able to edit recipes, change schedules, and edit configuration settings while Plant Care users will only be able to view the software and access the "Feeding on Demand" feature.

Note: The local user name and password will be different from the remote access VNC Viewer username and password. The local user/password will only work for accessing the Rhythm Software. The VNC Viewer user/password will allow you to access the remote desktop viewer of the software on your phone or computer remotely. You will still have to log into the machine when accessing from VNC Viewer with the LOCAL user/password created in step 4.
Configure your system.
The most important part before feeding any plants is to set up your configuration settings for the system. A detailed guide about CONFIGURATION settings can be found here.

Through configuration, you can:
Add and set up rooms.  Rhythm will have preloaded your rooms or walked though the process with you during commissioning as well. In each room's configuration settings, you can set up details like dripper details, active zones, sunrise and sunset times etc. These details are required for functionality and are detailed in the ROOM CONFIGURATION guide.

Configure nutrient settings.  Rhythm will walk you through the process during commissioning, but there is a guide on how to set up nutrient bottle locations, sizes, types, volumes, etc. in the NUTRIENT CONFIGURATION section.

Configure pH and EC settings.  Rhythm will walk you through the process during commissioning, but there is a guide on how to set up pH and EC ratios, cycle attempts, high/low tolerances, etc. in the PH AND EC CONFIGURATION section.

Configure system processe settings.  These include things like clean cycle, dump, night watch, and alerts for broken pipes, no flow or high/low feeding temps. The guide is located in the PROCESS CONFIGURATION section.

Add contact info for alerts.  You can set up which alerts you'd like to receive (i.e. room not fed, critical alerts, feeding alerts) and which email or phone number (text) you'd like them to go to. This guide is located in the EMAIL CONFIGURATION section.

Configure certain admin settings.  You can add users, enable or disable certain equipment, change the date/time, and add system protections. This guide is located in the ADMIN CONFIGURATION section.
Calibrate your equipment.
You will need to calibrate your pH/EC sensors and your dosing pumps before use. Please see the following guides for each:

Create recipes and schedules.
Create recipes.  In order to feed a room, you will need to create a recipe. This recipe will tell the system WHEN you'd like to water, WHICH nutrients to add to the mix, HOW OFTEN you'd like it to repeat throughout the day, and HOW MUCH volume to water per zone. For a full guide on how to create a recipe, please click "RECIPES" on the bottom of the main screen of your software, and then read through the ADD A RECIPE section here.

Assign schedules to rooms.  Once you have created a recipe with a schedule, you can PLACE the recipe into each room's SCHEDULER. The Scheduler has (up to) 15 weeks in which you can place a different (or the same) recipe into each week. This allows the system to run on an automated schedule so that you can 'set it and forget it.' If you don't want to create a set schedule, you can always choose "Loop Recipe" which will feed the room in a frequency pattern (i.e. water for 10 minutes every 2 hours from 9am to 4pm). For full details on the scheduler, please click on ROOMS > Recipe Card in your software and then see the FEED MANAGER page here. You will need to repeat this process for every room.

Important!
The system allows for complete automation with safe guards, or complete manual functionality, but you must make sure everything is configured for what you want to achieve. There are many different features for different circumstances of watering, so please read through the entire software guide to become aware of everything you can do.
Start feeding and dial in recipes.
Once your recipes are in place and you have configured your dates and times and other features, you will be ready to feed! Your rooms will feed on an automated schedule, but the software will also allow you to:

Feed on demand.  Even if you have schedules running, you can always run a feed at any time on demand. With the Rhythm software, you can even run your entire facility on manual operation if you wanted to, however it is best to run automated schedules and then supplement with feeding on demand as needed.

Set up flush days.  These are feeds that override the regular schedule on a set day. They are called "flush days" because growers commonly use them for feeding some kind of flush recipe one one day of the week (i.e. flush every Friday). However, any type of recipe can be utilized in this feature to override the regular schedule.

Feed different zones different amounts.  Because plants are dynamic, each zone can have different sizes or strains in one room which will require feeding them different volumes. This can be done in our software through the FEED MANAGER.

View your feeding queue.  View which feeds are up next in the DASHBOARD.

Important!
Once your room is actively feeding, it is important to familiarize yourself with the MAIN OVERVIEW SCREEN. It is especially important to dial in your STABILIZATION PROCESS. If you do not dial in the pH ratios and become familiar with how nutrients and volume amounts affect batches, it can result in batches that take too long to mix or don't achieve desirable pH/EC values.

Please read the guide available here.
